Angela Lyle studied Fashion design at Kingston Art College in the late 1960’s.
She spent several years making stage costumes for Rock musicians, which led to her opening a rehearsal/recording studio in Wales. At the same time she was designing clothes and fabrics for Welsh Woollen Mills and producing hand painted silk and velvet for her own collections.
She moved to Cornwall in 1985 and found constant inspiration in the countryside and coastline. She also loves life drawing and enjoys using colour and composition in this work.
Her work has been exhibited in Cornwall, New Zealand, Spain and the USA.
