Splendid set of six fruitwood Hall Chairs of exceptionally high quality with ebonised decoration throughout.
The backs are Cartouche shaped which surround a central motif with the letter R, which were reputedly made for a famous American family.
There is historic woodworm under the seats and in small areas of the chairs, however they have been fully treated and are very solid, heavy and without movement.
The previous owner purchased these in Italy.
