Siobhan Purdy (b. 1970) is a British artist based in Redruth, Cornwall and works from the Krowji studios, creative hub and workspaces.

Siobhan paints in oils on canvas or board and likes to build up a history on the surface with layers of paint. Sometimes areas of the paint have a crayon-like effect, which enhances the childlike characteristic Siobhan likes her pieces to have. She likes to paint people, particularly children and animals. She constantly scans everyday images and looks for the one that makes a great painting. Her paintings have a dreamlike quality. She often uses animal features combined with human figures to enhance expression of character and to create an element of extended reality, emphasising the dreamy qualities of my work.
